We’re Grown Now

Respect your elders. In most households that’s a non negotiable rule.

You grow to no longer be subjected to the kids table, which later escalates to not be being dismissed during grown folks conversation.

Now boom, you finally made it but your opinion or point of view isn’t welcome.

Why is it that your elders don’t have respect for your opinions when you’re old enough to express them?

They feel that it is considered disrespectful to disagree or think outside of what they have instilled in you.

They say there’s a time and a place for everything but how old is too old for “a child’s place?”
